Dani mistakes Jackson for Max for as long as it takes him to open his eyes. When she finds out that it truly is Jackson she can't understand why she is drawn to him the way she is or why she trusts him. But there is a strength to him that Max has never had that draws her. But that doesn't stop her heavy attraction to Reign, so what does that make her for wanting both men?

Jackson flies to Vegas to have a "face-to-face" with Max after a phone conversation that leaves him feeling there are things wrong with him. Being awakened by a beautiful woman in bed with him gets things started that Jackson hadn't counted on. Then there's that crafty Cat Shapeshifter who wants Dani to help him catch a killer and Jackson knows things are going to get real interesting real fast. He's even willing to become the cat's lover to keep Dani safe.

Well now this was a "shift with a twist" I must say. It gave a whole new meaning to the term fighting like cats and dogs. Full of sex hot enough to steam a sauna it was also filled with the humor, wit and understanding of human nature that makes this an intriguing look at how "different" people might fight against what they have been taught is wrong when it comes to love and what is acceptable.

  1. This sounds like a delicious friction between the genders and I can never get enough of that. And I must find out what the "shift with a twist" means :)
