Having to stay strong for the angel warriors, protect friends and family from the evil stalking them, Cam now has to face the fact that the Powers are back and about to make life even more miserable for the rest of the world. But it's when the demons start striking close to home that things get really nasty. It's the attack against his heart that will make his hold on sanity next to impossible. But no one strikes at him or his without facing consequences that have an
everlasting effect on the world.

The struggle for good against evil continues and this installment just heightens the story. I found the fact that the angel warriors are learning to adapt to not only human ways, but also some outlooks refreshing. There is still plenty of action to hold the interest (and the sex ain't half bad either), but it's watching the growth of the angels that keeps my curiosity engaged. I like the fact that Ms. Hecht has allowed them the kind of "stretching" necessary to make this
real, but has kept them true to their basics.
