Having learned to control (well, most of the time) her talent, Abby now has to meet her public. Only it's her magical public who is waiting to meet her at the lovely Hotel Specter at a congregational get-together known as a Summit. There's nothing like having a shindig where you get to meet the "creme De la creme" of the otherworld and attend a trial at the same time.

Xander knows how hard this is for Abby, yet as not only a part of her Oak Point Guard, but as the man who loves her, he's ready to defend to the death this woman who means the other half of his soul. Now if he can just get her through the meeting with his family, the trial of the person who wants her dead and keep her from "blasting" anyone who steps on her toes, they might just survive this "meeting of the magics".

It's not often that I can say that I enjoyed the second of a series as much if not more than the first. I thoroughly like the way that Ms. Grace takes this premise, works life into it, makes it real and yet entertaining, gives it a title and puts it out here for those like me who like a simple, fun, truly good read that still is full of the same
humor, depth, perception and some surprising solutions to sticky situations. I'm waiting for the next one to see just how far she can take it and keep it simply good fun.
