Darcy has been committed to raising his brother Martin since their mother died when he was nineteen. Now a history professor with a good life he realized much of his emotional life had been put on hold to get where he was today.
Martin was getting married he thought his big brother needed a date for the wedding. So, he finds Darcy a date through a personal ad he initially refuses but can never hold out against Martin for long, decides to go and meet her. Going to the address Martin gave he is greeted by not a woman, but a man named Ryan. It is soon apparent there has been some mistake, because Ryan is definitely interested.
Ryan is a therapist of a sort, a sex therapist actually. He was looking for a gay or bi-sexual submissive for a little bondage and toy play. After the break up with his boyfriend he needed to do something for himself, so he placed the ad, and when Darcy arrived on his doorstep he was definitely interested. After showing him around and totally freaking Darcy out Ryan watched him go, feeling for sure that Darcy would be back. It was just a gut instinct, but it was strong.
There is a lot of emotion and personal growth in this story. Darcy had been everything for his brother and his mother before she died, he had closed off his emotions and needed a firm hand in learning who he was. Ryan saw such potential in Darcy that he fell in love almost on
the spot, but it was such a struggle to allow Darcy the time to grow into himself. The raw emotions portrayed touch the heart and the passion once released it beautiful to behold.
