Dr. Lauren needed to get away for a while to heal her wounded soul so she was going to her friends' vacation home on a private island of the middle of the Caribbean. There were only five homes of five reclusive artists and writers and they were not in residence. Only the handyman and possibly his friend would be there and Lisette had assured her they were gay and would not be bothering her. When Dr. Lauren got locked out on the balcony and began trying to climb down a tree with only a towel for clothing she met Josh. With just one kiss he assured her that he was far from gay.

As she was recovering from the sprained ankle Marcus a Dom from New York suggested a card game, high card wins. Lauren got the high card and Josh and Marcus had to do everything she said.

The story speaks intimately about the emotional relationship between a Dom and sub. This story although very steams is more about the depth of trust and the need to love one's self as much as others around you. This story is not about a game people play at parties and clubs but a relationship that evolves because of need. The need to trust and accept love. It is a wonderful love story, which happens to include a Dom/sub relationship. Very moving.
