Two copies of The Last Living Slut: Born in Iran, Bred Backstage are up for grabs!

Roxana has led an incredible life. She was raised traditionally in Tehran, against backdrop of the Iranian revolution, and was sent to London at a young age to escape the violence. Before long, she discovers something she had never experienced: rock music, which quickly led her down a dark and dangerous path. THE LAST LIVING SLUT offers us an incredibly vivid, raw, honest and compellingly written account of herself as a young woman filled with contradictions: she loves the rock scene but hates drugs; she doesn’t drink but will do absolutely anything in bed; and she is secretly terrified that she’s going to hell, but can’t say no to her own desires.

Your review is very suscint, yet intriguing. The Last Living Slut: Born in Iran sounds like it addresses interesting issues for women of the Muslin (and Christian) faiths. Muslin restrictions are much stricter than the Christian, although in theory the same. How the feminine issues are dealth with in this book, will prove to be a very good summer read.
