maker Elina Hirvonen. A best seller in Finland and short listed for
the Finlandia prize, When I Forgot has now been translated into more

Elina Hirvonen's Paradise – Three Journeys In This World is a poetic
documentary about immigration from Africa to Europe. In it we see how
illegal immigration forces people to live their lives on the street
and results in the separation and concern that it causes back in the
home villages around Africa. It premiered in Helsinki this year and
has been selected for the 2007 Amsterdam Film Festival (also in
November). (Length: 51 mins)
