REVIEW: Ruby Tuesday | Wild Irish Bk 2 | Mari Carr | Ellora's Cave
Author: Mari Carr
Publisher: Ellora's Cave
Publication Date: December 2009
Length: Short Novel
Perfectly happy with her life the way it is, Teagan has no aspirations for a singing career other than in her family's pub. Why then is she writing songs with this "rock star" and learning just what her body would like him to play on her? Who is it that's determined they won't accomplish the "song fest" Sky won from her?
It's not easy to hide in plain sight-especially when someone keeps snitching your location to the pesky press. Sky has been trying to make a truly difficult decision about leaving his position as lead singer and striking out on his own and finding Teagan and discovering her talent as a songwriter has made it a bit easier.
This one had a bit of everything; feisty female, determined male, suspense, humor and drama. It was a quick read that in several places made me laugh aloud and the quick-witted give and take between them brought them to life completely. Having missed the first I shall have to make a point to check out the later ones.
