The Mountain Escape- a secluded, scenic hideaway for those who wished to "indulge" in a part of life frowned upon by most of society. Yet from the moment Reese saw this place that his lover bought him before he passed away, he knew it was a place he could be happy. At least until the transparent guests started making their presence known.

Not having put much stock into the "ghost stories" that abounded about the resort that he intended to make into a bed and breakfast, Reese found himself becoming way too involved in trying to sort out what truly happened to the gorgeous young rock star that apparently several men thought they owned.

A ghost tale with "bite". I have to say that I like Mr. Manly's style of down to earth, plain speaking with descriptives that paint sometimes painfully vivid pictures. With a fine hand and wry wit he gave me a tale of love that transcended death, as well as a new love grown out of the despair of those who perished. I adored Reese, but must admit I'd love to meet the rock star.
