If you found yourself kidnapped to save the peoples of two planets because you're a genetic genius, would you be flattered or angry? That's the question Andrea must answer when she discovers that Mal Ton has done exactly that and added the incentive of a man she believes to be a captive who intrigues as well as arouses more than just her compassion. Things aren't always what they appear and upon discovering their betrayal turns both men away.
Now she's unsure if she can trust Roark to be the "forever" man she wants him to be. Mal Ton will do whatever he has to to stop this crippling disease that is decimating the peoples of both planets; including kidnapping a genetic genius and anybody else who might be able to stop it. Roark and he have been fighting the war against this for far too long, but now there's a new complication. Andrea has gotten under Roark's skin and he wants to be in her heart in the worst way, but other than smoldering sex can they trust their hearts to each other?
This one started out pretty interesting, got a bit slow through the middle, then picked up again through the end. I thought the premise she worked with to be very interesting, as well as one that might be worked on today. I did however like the way the characters sort of grew on me as they became more individualistic. The sex of course was hot, heavy and a bit hedonistic and the men absolutely yummy.
