Princess Cerise Chessienne: rebel leader with more than one secret, but the main one is the fact that she can enslave any man she wants.... with sex. Yet that's not on her agenda until she's captured by a bounty hunter who makes her want to use it because of the feelings he engenders within her naive (in some ways) little heart.

A man of many secrets himself, Regan is the pirate most feared throughout the galaxy. Though it's his intense loyalty to the rebel Princess that's about to be tested to limits never imagined in the years he's spent protecting her. Then a very special part of his past walks back into his life and things really go to Hell in a hand-basket.

A hunter for hire, Tie captures Cerise for the lovely bounty the Amalgamation has offered his boss for her to be brought in very much alive. What he doesn't know is that he's about to become a slave to his passions in ways undreamed of and bounty be-damned. Then his past and present come together in a manner so unexpected as to make him wonder just how foully fate hates him.

When the past and the present collide it's not always a disaster, but it can come damn close. I was rooting for all three of these mains while they fought to reconcile past, present and future into something resembling a life. I liked the fact that this was a book with "meat"; said meat being a fully rounded tale of struggle, happiness, desire, logical possibilities (as far as our concept can take us,anyway), backed by enough action to sustain it. The sex was hot, sweaty and plentiful while the full emotional gamut was laid bare. For me the ultimate is the vulnerability of all of them as they work to become three-as-one. It was an overall good read.
