BOOK MEME: Monday Musings

I found this blog meme on Rebecca's Just One More Page... and I thought I'd give it a go!

Here are the Monday Musings this week:

Do you have a set reading time (before bed, perhaps)? Do you read more at night or during the day? Is there a day of the week, perhaps, that you set aside to catch up on reading?

I don't have any set time or day of the week for reading as I read anytime I can fit it in. However, I will more than likely be reading in the evenings and before I go to bed. Quite often if the book is a page turner and I want to know what happens, and if I wake up early enough, I will also read first thing in the morning --before anyone is up and it's nice and quiet.

What about you?

Sassy
:)

Welcome to Musing Mondays! You're gonna love it.

We read when we can.. If we want to, we'll always find a way. As for me, there are some things I couldn't do anymore..like read while commuting..

    Have a great week ahead!

  6. Thank you for your kind words, Bobbi - and for commenting! :)

@ Zetor, I think that's a good time to read, in the evenings when you are more relaxed -- although, not so relaxed you fall asleep :)

  7. Welcome to Musing Mondays!
I can't read before bed unless I'm having trouble sleeping- because reading puts me right out at night! :-)

  8. I used to read for hours at a time. Now that I have concentration and memory problems, I read several times a day in 10-15 minute intervals.

  10. Hi Clayton!

I think that's a good way to read - they say one takes more in with regular breaks.

    Thanks for commenting!

Yes, if I read to late, it quite often has the same effect on me :)

Ooh, I have to finish a page-turner before going to bed... no matter how tired I am, or how late it is... even though I know I'll enjoy it more if I read it the following morning. There's this 'instant gratification' person inside me!

Like you, I don't set aside any time as such either - just read as much as I can.

  13. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Last night I was reading a page turner... and I stayed up way to late! I did end up sneaking in a few pages before leaving for work this morning. :-)

  15. I'm very similar - I read when I can fit it in. Usually before I go to sleep or early in the morning.

  20. I read mostly in the evening, but now I have a book with me at work as well. It is quiet here and I'm all alone so instead of just sitting here a read a little.

  24. I used to read in the mornings before work--when I didn't have to be up so early. But with my earlier schedule, I just can't force myself out of bed any earlier than I already have to be up. I'm a reluctant morning person that way. :-)

Well, I do have to be "awake" enough to concentrate. :)
