Getting the job as Housekeeper on Jackson's farm seems the perfect way to elude the man who seems intent on making her life a living hell. But it seems she still has not run far enough for he's found her again.

A housekeeper is the last thing Jackson Connors wants, even if the house is in desperate need of one. One look at Emerald, however, and he decides a trial period couldn't hurt. There is definitely something between them, but if the maniac stalking her has his way, they won't have long to explore it.

Wow! A sensitive man, a feisty woman, oodles of suspects, and some really intense sex. All of this interwoven within a marvelous plot line that's realistic enough to make you wish you were truly there. I found this peopled with some truly outstanding characters who made me want to just reach out and hug them or simply laugh out loud at their antics. The sense of family portrayed was astounding, while the wit and humor that abounded within the pages beautifully offset the terror. A definite keeper.
