Small town police chief Callum McCloud has always loved Brody and has hoped to have a life with him. Now there's a chance as he comes to know Bel better that instead of a pair, it just might become the best deal of his life. A guy can only hope.
This had one of the most frighteningly gritty, realistically horrific beginnings to one of the best reads I've had in a bit. I read about a woman of uncommon valor, men of selfless integrity, compassion, and a monster who unfortunately resides in far too many places in far too
many towns. It was an intense read full of sultry, erotic sex, fear, despair, and a victory that made me raise my fist and cheer. I was hooked from page one and while I never knew exactly what to expect, Ms. Lynne kept it just "twisted" enough to make me keep reading to see where it went.
