A woman with an agenda, Miranda has no intention of letting the
reclusive "Night Stalker" interfere with the plans she's spent so much time putting into action. If she's right they are far too important to each other.

Damian is a very reclusive, very powerful vampire with no intentions of letting anyone get close to him again. Then why can't he forget the headstrong woman who doesn't seem afraid of him?

Sometimes the "best laid plan" stands no chance against the most powerful emotion-love. I found this a read of cunningly written scenes full of emotional impact. The characters were realistic enough as to be the people in my own family (well, without the fangs), while I wished I could meet Sarah as well as Damian and Miranda. It was a fun quick read.
