It's the year 2050 and Jerri and Sam are just two women trying to make a living. So while trying to drum up some business, they are the ones to witness two gorgeous hunks who seem to appear from thin air; naked, aroused and looking at them like they're lunch (oh, my, to be so lucky). The problem? Both women know these delicious dudes are hiding things from them. When they find out what, they're certainly not the kinds of things they ever imagined.
Coming from a rather depressing future where women are a thing of the past, Kar'four and Deuce are looking forward to finding out what real women are truly like. But these happening hunks are hiding secrets they hope Jerri and Sam can not only accept, but come to love. In order to survive in their time, human and animal DNA is mixed to create some truly fascinating individuals with some incredible abilities.
Never have I enjoyed a book as much as this one where men are hungry for "real" women; the everyday, garden variety kind instead of those who are perfect. I laughed, smiled and frowned while this book actually made me think of the possible concept of a world without women and how man would survive. In an awesome exploration of that premise, the authors have given us an amazing possibility that if not totally viable, makes for some wonderful fantasies. The sex, while explicit, erotic and superbly written, was still centered on a relationship and made the story believable. Top shelf for this one.
