As a powerful Elemental, Karissa Moshen knows she'll be sent to find her mate much sooner than most women. It's not something she's ready to do, yet being female means she has no choice. Being an experienced Aliara from the Frejan Realm, she didn't expect to find her mate during a mission; though she found not one, but two, as it appeared she is destined to mate both Fire Princes. But if Tyral and Callan expect docility, both are in for a rude awakening.
Tyral and Callan Forain are the Princes of the Volirian Realm who don't bother to tell Karissa that she is their mate, figuring they have time to let her get accustomed to them—wrong. It seems a few people have serious intentions of making the mating of the fire and ice realms a "not happening" event. While trying to keep their future bride safe they discover more of what makes Karissa tick (so they think). These two share not only the twin-speak ability, but also the burden of teaching her to obey their rules.
Magic, cools ways of travelling, treachery, plots against the throne were just a few of the treats in store when I read this book. Add in some explicitly erotic sex, pride and strength of character, and this becomes an exciting romp from which I got a great deal of enjoyment. I found the serious undertones completely believable, while the humor and wit interwoven throughout showed the realistic emotions of "human" beings as well as making them fully rounded individuals. This is one to keep.
