About Kimberly Adkins
Kimberly Adkins resides in Nashville, Tennessee, Music City USA. She is an avid artist who works with oils, acrylics and water colors. She also spends time song writing and sometimes singing when they make her. Kimberly is a member of Romance Writers of America, and also has a strong background in Science Fiction Fantasy and collects dragons as well as studies the superstring theory.
For Kimberly, romance writing is a wonderful and appealing outlet of magic, because passion is truly real, and Fate lines up to reward the faithful who believe that love holds a power beyond our understanding and dreams can have a chance to come true.
Her inspirations come from various forms of writing and music and she lists Terry Practhett, Terry Goodkind, Anne Rice and R.A. Salvatore as authors she is passionate about.
Musical influences include Duran Duran, The Changelings, Enya, Tori Amos and David Bowie, but she says there is nothing more inspiring than a bottle of Merlot and the soundtrack for the movie Dune during a thunderstorm.
When she is not writing and generally getting into any other trouble, Kimberly can be found playing World of Warcraft where she enjoys the company of other like minded people she considers to be great friends.
Her Debut Title, "The Medallion of Solaus" received a P.E.A.R.L. nomination, a Love Romances and More nomination and the cover won a Covey Award. The Medallion of Solaus is available at Amazon.com, B&N, Target and your favorite local Bookstores.
