Kat was applying to the Society for Sexual Freedom, having been recommended by her friend, Victoria, who was a longstanding member. It was a high security, discreet membership-by-invitation-only club. Since she was a high-powered attorney, she certainly needed discretion. Feeling that BDSM was really a joke, she was not even sure why she was there, though. Her friend had insisted that Kat would be a perfect submissive and Kat secretly wanted to believe there was a strong, Dominant man out there who could make her let go, who was "not afraid to take his pleasure from a woman."

Snooping around after the interview and running into the very Dominant Master J, she was still not convinced to join. However, she was intrigued enough to come back for seconds to find out more about Master J, especially after she scored a sexual harassment lawsuit against the millionaire Chase Neill. Since he was admittedly involved in BDSM she figured she needed to do some independent research on the subject. And if she took the case, Chase better watch out because she let no man tell her what to do.

Denial is a powerful thing. Kat has secret wants and desires but she certainly does not seem ready to let go to get them. She has been fighting to achieve for so long it is hard to even contemplate letting someone else control her. This is a great quick read. Not too terribly deep but in this case that is what makes the reading fun. The D/s is real within the safe setting of the club with Master J, while she secretly dreams of Chase Neill. Have fun reading to find out who wins in the court case drama, as well as in the bedroom.
