Thus begins a bizarre and sensuous odyssey, in which Mallory is scheduled to marry a Saudi Prince and Drew is in danger of being beheaded for soiling the Prince's fiancé.

Excerpt One

Mallory has just entered the singles bar JoJo's and working her way through a sea of on-the-make, male patrons to join her friend, Paige.

As expected, Friday at JoJo's was a madhouse. Drew spied Mallory beating a path through the buzzards toward the rear bar. He edged over to the front bar, where he could best keep an eye on her. Squeezing between two customers, he stood with his back to the bar in order to watch his fine-looking mark. As anticipated, she joined her friend Paige.

Admiring his quarry, his mind wandered. She was so extraordinarily beautiful. Tall and lithe with cascading blonde curls, mesmerizing blue eyes, angelic face and fantastic legs. Ahh, those legs. They excited him. Sitting on her stool, her wondrous legs crossed, she turned and gazed across the room. A chill went through him when, for a fleeting moment, their eyes met. After months of following and learning everything I can about her, I'm falling in love with her.

The bartender wrenched Drew out of his reverie. "What'll you have, Buddy?"

He looked over his shoulder. "I'll take a Seven-Up."

"One Seven-Up coming up."

Drew returned to his thoughts, How can I do what I must? Can I get out of it? No, that won't work, someone else will be sent. I must get close to her somehow, and protect her from the Prince.

The lounge portion of JoJo's had three bars – one to the left of the entrance, a service bar near the restaurant and the main bar, her friend Paige liked, in the rear. For girls, it was good because it was near the ladies room, but the bad thing was you had to pass through a multitude of bawdy drunks on the make to get to it.

"Damn-it! Let go of me, you… And don't touch me again… Creep!" Mallory shrilled as she extricated herself from the grabby hands of yet another rude, drunken God's gift to women.

Exactly, what is the attraction of this place? Mallory half thought, half mumbled to herself.

Mallory wove her way through the masses of semi-intoxicated, on the make, male customers, perpetually searching for free hor' douvres, half price Happy Hour drinks and if they got lucky—a one night stand.

Well, I'm nobody's one night stand!

"Hey gorgeous, have I –"

"Never." She cut him off.

"Baby, where ha –"
"Hiding from you," she said jerking her hand back.

I was blown away with Legs. From the moment Drew and Mallory connect in the bar, to the hair-raising kidnapping, I was hypnotized with the charisma of the storyline and the characters. Dee Dawning knows how to create an action-packed story that explodes. With intrigue, sensual passion, and a bit of mystery, all blended together, not to mention, just the right spots to include some witty little remarks, he crafts a most splendid read. Mallory and Drew are absolutely captivating together. The in-depth secondary characters add great appeal to the movement of the story. I really hope he plans a sequel or a series. Legs was a fun, hot and fast read that left me needing several glasses of super cold ice water. The scenes are scorching and the characters well defined. Dee also included a whole cast of characters that I just came to understand and root for. Mallory's friend Paige was one character that I would like to see in a sequel. Paige deserves her own story. So, if you like action and a constantly evolving plot read Dee Dawning's Legs, but don't forget to have your water pitcher near by.

Dee Dawning spins an incredibly appealing story that kept me glued to the pages. The unusual title of her book enticed me to pick it up and the novel hooked me from page one, making me wish that this book would last forever. Legs is filled with steamy hot sex, white slavery, and packed with heart clenching action that I could perfectly visualize in my mind. I enjoyed the prose and the interplay between the hero and the heroine. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat as I followed all the twists and turn. By all means, this is an exceptional read which the reader will not regret picking up.

Author Dee Dawning combines erotica with adventure, making LEGS twice the ride. I laughed heartily at Dawning's outrageous scenes and tacky Vegas descriptions. I adored Mallory's display of spunk when she told Ali's daughter to mind her because she's soon to be her wicked stepmother. A match to Mallory's spirit, Drew captivated my heart when he protected her with guts and determination. I had to keep ice water handy from beginning to end. I recommend LEGS by Dee Dawning to friends who enjoy madcap, ultra hot eroticism.

Dee Dawning has managed to write an truly intriguing story with one surprise after another mixed with love scenes that would serve to make you hot under more than just your collar. Her characters Mallory, Drew, Page, Robbie – to name a few, were thought out to perfection. With elegant ease, Ms. Dawning has spawn truly human characters that make you laugh, cry, cringe and get turned on with them. And the ending, I have to tip my hands to a very powerful weaver of tales.
