I must admit that I was wondering if this series would be as good, get better, or what. It did get better. I'm not sure how Ms. Strong continues the growth of the characters without them becoming stale, but she has and the anatomical changes of the shifters from second to first form is captivating. But the most interesting thing is that throughout the entire thing it's the focus on relationship that gives this series its strength.
