Laurel Rose McCaffey has always been different. Many in town
whispered that see had the Sight, others that she was crazy and some that she was a witch. The local pastor even accuses her of being in league with the devil. Stefan followed two men he had overheard talking in a bar. They were plotting to hurt Laurel Rose. He did not know her but her name sent feelings deep inside him simmering. He had to find out what the men were up to and stop them from hurting her. More importantly he had to meet
Laurel and find out what was so compelling about her, especially as the mere mention of her name should stir his soul.

Even deeper into mystery than the first two books this one adds the psychic abilities of Laurel Rose. Her lack of acceptance of her worth is one of the greatest things that Stefan must help her overcome. It is very intense and rest of the family is on hand to help.
