A thought of a lone bitch high up on the mountain woke him in the early morning. She might not even be awake yet but he heard her despair and knew he needed to find her. When he found her in wolf form hiding in a snow cave he knew he had to protect her. When he found out she was Heidi's friend that had been abused by her husband he knew he would make her a widow soon.

This is a wonderful story of love at first sight even when Josie did not want to acknowledge the fact. The struggle of their flaming affair is passionate and deep. The protective instincts of the
werewolf runs deep in Josie and he will do anything except die for her. But will he be able to let her into his mind as he so easily creeps into hers?
