Traveller was being hunted. His brother Dancer had disappeared for his own safety and after finding the note hidden in his music case Traveller needed to get to safety as well. With everyone on his trail the only way he was going to reach safety with his brother was to have some insurance. In order to keep Free from finding him first he kidnapped his son Bishop and sent the message to back off or loose him forever. He finally arrived at the cave on Bright Shadows Mountain, but his brother was nowhere to be found.

When Free found him and sent in his goons the cave wall collapsed in the explosion and Traveller was trapped with Bishop. In trying to find a way out of the cave they smelled flowers and followed the sent to a hidden tunnel that led to a mysterious place, a magical land, a hidden valley, and his brother.

An interesting fantasy with all the intrigue one could want. With the ever present quest for the fountain of youth and the power it would give someone was bound to get greedy and ready and willing to kill for the secrets. The refuge from the world, the mystical hidden valley with its different culture and people is a wonderful surprise. I enjoyed the anticipation as well as the passion of the people who are only slightly different from all of us. A good time for readers to immerse themselves in a different time and place.
