Roger Malloy had just let his career slip through his fingers. He had failed his assignment to protect the son of a Senator, and now the Senator was dead and the son was presumed dead, his body missing. His life was about to change and the only way to put on the brakes was to find Lorcan MacKenna and find out what truly happened. He was sure Lorcan was the key to the puzzle. He just had no clue to how complicated the puzzle would become.

Cardin and Estefan had been together as a small group of Watcher, supposedly the last of their breed. They were watching Roger because he seemed to be the Rememdiu, everything pointed to him to end the existence of the hated vampires. If only they could get to him and bind him to their cause in time.

It is a wonder story of the depths of love and what lengths one would go to in order to protect the love of their life. It is also a story of acceptance. I love the take on vampirism and how it is finally understood that not all vampires are bad. The intensity of the sexual escapades of the Watchers is outstanding even in the beginning when love is not involved. As love grows it gets even hotter with ménage a 'four'. What a great read. There has got to be more of this story.
