Natalie was trying to find Mr. Perfect and she thought she was in a perfect position to find him. As a technician at the sperm bank she could look through the files and meet each man in person it was a perfect solution to the normal dating scene. However, time and again she had accepted dates with the donors only to be stood up at the last minute. She now had a rule, they only got one shot, if they did not show up it was over.

When the building next door was demolished by Shane Derby several donors of Natalie's messed up their samples and she was on the warpath. Couldn't they have warned her they were going to set off explosives. Her confrontation with Shane left him hot and he decided he would definitely find a way to see her again. He had never considered donating sperm but to see her he would definitely fill out an application, especially since she had goaded him by implying he would not be up to her standards.

A light contemporary story of finding the right guy but not wanting to settle for anything less than perfect. However, no one is perfect and Natalie will have to learn to accept Shane and give him a second chance if she is going to find happiness. She will have to let go of her rigid rules and bend a little in the end if she wants their steamy relationship to get off the ground.
