MEMBER NEWS: Writer James E. F. Riley, Sr. Recovering from Surgery!

'Daydreams & Nightmares' writer James E. F. Riley, Sr.
recently had spinal surgery in which two disks were
replaced in his neck. The operation was performed by
neurosurgeon Dr. Duarte in Texas, and Mr. Riley is
reposrted to be recovering successfully at home under
the care of his wife Cristina and their three
children.

Jim is doing well and already starting to participate
in regular activities. He has lost about fifteen (15)
pounds since the surgery and he is trying to keep the
weight off.

Jim's recent successes include one of his short
stories being performed as a play with the work of Don
Nigro (the most published playwright in North
America), one of his stories being voted runner up in
a reader's choice award in 'Anotherealm' and numerous
Op/Ed articles appearing in newspapers in Cal, Tx and
Ct.
