Third in the Witches Knot series focuses on Simone an empathic witch who has difficulty in relationship because she can read the man’s emotions and finds each one shallow and therefore is not willing to commit to a relationship that is unfulfilling. Lately she has been sensing a darkness approaching, a great evil and will need lots of help to overcome the dread approaching. Kael Gardener will be part of that help, as a victim on Oathbreakers he has been a hunter since his family was murdered and has yet to have his vengeance in full. In order to hunt the vampire who is after Simone he will have to rely on a vampire in her family. Can he really trust a vampire? Will he ever give up his vengeance for love?

Again a wonderful book as a part of the set. I think it would be a little less if read alone so I recommend you start at the beginning. Kael has many demons of his own to deal with before he can trust and it is evident in his character development that he has long settled for having a impenetrable wall around his heart. Ties in well with the other books in the series. Emotional on many levels and intensely sexual, creating a wonderful bond.
