It may be Halloween, but Lopaka is the one tricked instead of treated. An obake (ghost) has decided to take up residence in his body, refusing to leave until they help her. She's been waiting for help outside the Kahuna Village for a long time for this chance to find her way "home".

While Kimo has been successful in hiding his family from living enemies, he hadn't counted on the spirit of a murdered young dancer making this a Halloween to remember. Now he and everyone in the Kahuna Village must help see Aoi safely on her way before she decides she likes where she's at and refuses to leave.

Now this is the way to celebrate Halloween. I have always admired Mr. Llewellyn's ability to make the Hawaiian legends come to life in his Phantom Lover series and while just a touch fanciful they have always been a joy to read. This one has a bit more humor and all the beloved
characters are bigger than life, but it only enhances the experience. The serious undertones and hot erotic sex simply round out the story. Definitely one I'll read again.
