Kimberly was a western outfitter. Taking the order personally to Clyde in Mesa Junction was as good a reason as any to see Jack Dodson. He had finally given up the rodeo circuit and was now roughrider at the Circle Red Ranch. She would be staying with his mother and her new guy, Paul Wescott. She sensed right away that something was wrong there especially when Jack was in such a state over it. They had been pretty tight when she was just a kid and her family visited, now she wanted more from Jack and maybe helping find out what was going on with the suddenly wealthy Paul Wescott would help seal the deal.

A typical western romance with the twist. I can't say more but it is definitely not your average cowboy turn of events. There was a lot of sex and the passion of fulfilling her dreams with Jack to keep the plot line in the background were it highlights the blooming romance. But don't for a minute think the plot is unimportant it drives this story out of the norm.
