SSSS: (24th July) Can you finish author Cheryl Rainfield's Sunday Writing Prompt?

This week's writing prompt is from author Cheryl Rainfield:

'This is the last time,' I thought, my throat tight. But I knew I was lying to myself. 

My short story "The Healer," a paranormal suspense tale, appears in a collection of horror stories by Red Deer Press. "The Healer" is about a teen girl who heals people--only to find someone's using a similar power for evil.

As with much of my writing, I draw on my experiences of pain and healing from child abuse to create fiction that speaks to me--and, I hope, to many others.
