Having brought his human family to stay in the encampment, mated with a unique individual named Ozzie, Micah should be one happy camper. But Micah has learned never to believe happiness is an everyday thing and sometimes life kicks you in the butt, really hard. Can he find redemption for himself and keep the love of his mate or has he royally screwed his life? Plus they must fight off a threat that endangers everyone that means anything to him.
Ozzie never thought he'd find happiness for himself and then he found Micah, but things don't always "stay" happy. Considered strange because he's both vampire and werewolf he has no pack, but has a clan where he's fully accepted. Now he must help protect it from a threat that becomes more dangerous by the day.
What I like most about this series is that while the story is about two people it incorporates the "whole" making it flow with such ease that you can transition from one book to the next and not feel as though you've been "cut off" so to speak. There is plenty of hot sex, humor, depth and style that made this a read that is quick, enjoyable and one to re-read.
