Welcome to this week's edition of Sassy Sunday Story Starters!  Which starts with Megan Johns' story starter. 

Suddenly I went cold. My heart stopped. I knew it was one of those life-changing moments when nothing would ever be the same again. 

In the movies, there might be a full-blown orchestra with cymbals clashing to heighten the drama, but for me there was just a deafening silence. I screwed my eyes tightly, but they jerked back open again. No amount of denial could refute the sight before them.
