When you spend your life thinking you're one thing, then find out you're something totally different it can be a bit of a challenge to say the least. To have someone willing to show you how to deal with it is more than just a bit of a comfort. When you fall in love with that person-or elf- then it's just icing on the cake.

Mixtures of Fae, Ghoul, Troll, and Human, call friend their mentors at the Half-Blood Ball. I just have to say that I was disappointed that this was so short. But to have the ability that Sophie has would be tempting in the extreme. Not to mention just plain fun. Watching the struggle to reconcile herself, her future and her desire was intriguing. It was Raffin however that really threw me for a loop.
