Becoming known as the local "wig-out" was not something Brandi had planned for her life. Neither was watching the boogeyman take her nephew out of his bedroom, but she'd been unable to stop that. She'd spent three years trying to stop him from taking more kids but had been unlucky so far. Between the good folks of Mt. Airy thinking she's a total fruitcake and the nuthatch trying to fill her head with nonsense she's slowly losing what little sanity she has left.
Finding the seven keys to send evil back to the underworld is the predominant mission for the Templar Knight known as Julian. He wasn't planning on one of those keys being a pesky female who neither knew nor cared that she was essential to sending the offspring of Hell back to "Daddy". The last thing he needs is to feel that she belongs to him and the passion that she ignites within him never seems to sleep.
I found the premise an interesting one, Brandi's courage in the face of mockery stalwart, Julian sometimes overbearing, but it was the Knight's sidekicks who made the book a bit more of an interesting read, the sex was good and the battle was not what I expected at all, though I did enjoy it completely. While not a great read, it is nevertheless one to enjoy on a cold night with a hot cuppa.
