At one time Russ had it all; Gray- the love of his life, Survival- the band he created and dreams to fulfill. Until Johnny decided he wanted Russ and set into motion events that would leave Russ broken and at the lowest point of his life when the band finally came home. Enter Eddie and things get more than a little macabre.

Lackluster Eddie has lusted after Russ since high school and has finally found a way to make the luscious Russ his; even though it cost his soul. He is willing to give him back everything he's lost-except for the Gorgeous Gray- but the cost to Russ will be expensive as well. Returning to their hometown victorious, Gray realizes that he's not only never gotten over Russ's betrayal years earlier, but in all honesty has never gotten over Russ. He's not sure how Eddie got him back into the band or what control he has over Russ, just that something is not right.

This is something so different from what I'm used to from Mr. Manly that it took me awhile to decide if I liked it or not. To be honest I found the first of it not as gripping as I'm used to from him, but my perverted sense of weird made me keep reading and past mid-point it became more interesting. And the ending actually made up for the beginning with a lesson in basic human nature thrown in.
