Micki fancies Starlyn, the beautiful manager of the popular lesbian club TM's, from afar. When it is announced the club is going to have a contest with all proceeds going to the building fund for a new shelter to benefit homeless gay and lesbian youth, Micki cannot believe what the prize is going to be. A date with Starlyn! Woot! But is Micki too afraid to enter? What would she say or do, if she did win a chance to be with with Starlyn alone? She's tried for two years to get a date with her with no sucess. Maybe there was a reason for that.

This kept my attention and I read it fast, dying to know what the outcome would be. I am being very careful not to put spoilers in here, so, let me just say I enjoyed this, and the sexy mud wrestling. The Prize is a good example of a confident character becoming a bumbling mess when outside her comfort zone and how one should never make assumptions; communication is the key. Kira Chase has packed a lot of emotion into this short f/f read, which is worthy of a prize itself. Now, where do I book up mud wrestling lessons?
