I've always wondered why Mr. Manly ends his books the way he does. But it does indeed keep me coming back to read more. This one is no exception in that it's brutally real in many respects from plot to sex to relationships and how they do and don't work. A young man with that attitude that he's better than his father, the adopted son who knows only too well he isn't, a lifestyle that's often depicted with satire instead of truth and a story that is filled with not only anger,hurt,confusion and pain, but also with love, temptation, understanding and warmth. I always enjoy Mr. Manly's work.
