Then he's hurt on the job and suddenly there's this wolf showing up when he makes his stops at night; almost as if it's protecting him. But that wouldn't be realistic since there aren't any wolves around and he hasn't been around one any way.
I loved how Ms. Holt put two fundamentally opposite characters into a situation full of action, drama and suspense threw in some really hot lovemaking, stirred it together and gave me a read that grabbed on page one and kept me reading to the last. A strong-willed woman, a strong yet temperate man and a decision between head and heart.
