But maybe things aren't always what they've been portrayed, particularly if lies came from others, rather than the ones thought to have said them.
Conspiracy, selfishness, fear, betrayal, hope, unshakable faith and an enduring love are the basic ingredients in this tale, written with a wonderfully keen insight into just how possessive and heartless some people seem to be and the havoc they can create. I loved the vulnerability given to both characters as they struggled to find their way out of the morass left behind by interfering people. With some scrumptious lovemaking thrown in, this one is an absolute must have hot read.
