At thirty-five, Brad McTabish was getting a little too old for such a rough rodeo season. He was also just plain bored with the rodeo circuit every summer and running the only BDSM dungeon around. Roped and Lassoed was where he met Keely a couple of nights a week for some play, but he was even growing tired of that. He wanted her all the time and he wanted to settle down. He had grown up despite his best efforts not to.

Keely did not want long term and especially not with the owner of a BDSM club, the bad boy in town. She certainly had fun a couple of nights a week, but she would never consider more. Her mother was a submissive and her dad had been wonderful, but after losing him Vince had become her mother's Dom, and he was a villain who had turned her mother into a walking doormat. In high school some friends saw Vince leading her mother by a leash and they made Keely's life hellish. Never would she give any man that kind of control and listen to people whisper about her.

Matters of trust dominate this story as in most BDSM stories. However, this is more in keeping with Keely trusting herself. She knows what she wants but tries to hide from it. The tenderness is compelling and shows a side to this lifestyle that is sometimes missing. The depth of character is exactly what keeps me in touch while reading. I enjoyed it all.
