We need the following positions filled
All of the following positions are internet based. These positions are ideal for those who want to or need to work from home using their own computers, internet connections and the software programs needed for each position.
These jobs are all contracted and would be claimed as self-employment. They are not as of yet in anyway meant to replace an income. These positions provide experience, a chance to understand the publishing market and may one-day open doors for those seeking to enter the world of publishing. These are entry-level positions and although we are willing to open the doors to those with no experience, proof of qualifications for the job applied for is a must. Head Cover Artist
The HCA will be responsible for assigning, supervising and approving covers by the Cover Artists. The HCA will be responsible for making sure all art is handed in by their deadlines and informing upper management of any delays or needs. This position requires that you have your own art program capable of creating Cover Art and will need to be responsible for getting all Cover Art ready and formatted to design specifications for print. HCA will be required to supply the CEO, Senior Editor and Marketing Manager with all completed projects and upload them to the files on the online virtual office.
This is a contract position and will be negotiated based on % of royalties on Net book sales of new covers supervised by or created by the HCA. All Cover artists receive acknowledgments of their art inside each work.
Assistant to Upper Management
The AUP will be responsible for completing tasks assigned in various departments, assigned and supervised by the CEO only. Must have good organizational skills. Must own the programs needed for word processing and spreadsheets. Must be internet savvy and willing to learn new
things.
This is a contract position and will be negotiated based on % of royalties on all Net book sales.
Editors
We are in the market for several new Editors. Job position requires that you have all the necessary software with knowledge of using mark ups and a proofing galley. Forward resume with qualifications, education and previous employment.
