Dimitri is now the Pack Leader of the Malta werewolves and the responsibility rode well on his shoulders. A murder of one of their own in a trap well hidden on the mountain raised everyone's temper, and his littermate Nicolo just adds fuel to the problems.

Nicolo, was stunned when he met Heidi, she was a lunewulf and of the Pack they thought were murdering their pack mates. None of that mattered to him though; he wanted to get to know her better. Having to rescue her a second time when her car would not start he took her
into his territory to wait out a storm. The storm was nothing compared to the passion that brewed inside.

Heidi knew her pack hated the Malta werewolves but she really didn't care. Nicolo was the most impressive werewolf she had ever met and she would see him again. More than that she felt the werewolves should try to understand each other and fight together after some of their own were killed as well.

Going against tradition and the direct instructions of both of their pack leaders gets Nicolo and Heidi in some hot water. But their love is stronger and they will both have a tough fight to secure their right to love. Danger lurks as well in this story as continued traps kill more wolves and angry accusations run quick. Can two different breeds ever see eye-to-eye, did they learn nothing from Romeo and Juliet?
