Temperance was in the final weeks before opening her own store, Mystic Circle, but the contractor had up and left taking her money and leaving her in a bind. Her best friend Morgan asked her brother Gray to help out. He had a successful contracting business and had an interest in restoring antique buildings so it was a perfect solution for both. The problem was Temperance did not want to see him, she was still not totally over the high school crush she'd had on him and did not want to remember the one and only kiss they had shared.

Gray thought she would grow out of the notion she was a witch and when he found out she was opening a magical shop and did Tarot readings and made magic potions he just could not help but tease her mercilessly. He did not believe in magic but he did truly believe in the lust he was feeling for his high school dream. He had wanted her even then but she was just too young. Now she was fully a woman and he intended to have her.

This was a wonderful light hearted magical romance. It is a wonder any of us manage to come out of high school intact. But when the dreams and fantasies that revolve around love and sex are finally realized as an adult it is truly a magical moment. I loved the characters and the spirit of the romance as well as the underlying magic abilities of Temperance. Great name as well. Good all around read.
