Meredythe was a fierce journalist, who never let go of a story once she began. When her boss, James gave her a murder to cover, especially one linked to several others over the last eight years, she really sank in her teeth. The victims had all had their throats ripped out and each one was a criminal of some kind. The most recent killing had a witness that described a large black dog. The paw prints were not a dogs however and the hair found had both human and wolf DNA. Meredythe's research took her to the foremost authority on wolves, Dr. Bleddyn Glyndwr. She would have to interview him regarding the behaviour of wolves, and it they could be trained to kill. But he was also her most likely suspect, as an authority he would know how to use the wolves if it were possible. She had no idea he would be so magnetic, and that she would be drawn to him on a sexual level.

Wonderful paranormal novel. I love the blending of several paranormal entities, witches, shape shifters, vampires in an modern day tale. There are even flash-back type dreams of past life experiences, including druid worship and witch trials. The sexual tension is heightened by the characters fantasising about each other, prior to actually spending time in each others arms. It was a wonderful read that I will enjoy time and again.
