A wonderful fantasy about in a time of nomadic desert tribes and forest people. They live under harsh conditions, tribal customs and sorceress curses. Twin sons are cursed for the 7th generation to wander the earth looking for a warrior woman to love them both to break the curse.

A warrior woman looses her father in a hunting accident and is banished by her tribe as unnatural because she fights and hunts instead of being a proper woman.

When they meet Kalis and Malik must rescue Zarina from men who are attacking her. She has already slain one but has been injured and cannot fight off the other two. Zarina independent nature asserts itself and she cannot accept being dependent on anyone and face rejection again, so she fights the attraction for the two men.

Heart warming and gut tingling. A deeply romantic notion of finding the one true love. Amid a mixture of doubt and confused feelings by all three participants love seeps into each heart and binds the three together at a depth that even thought of death cannot break. The courage exemplified by each of the trio when confronting the sorceress is only possible when the stakes are so high.

This story fills the heart with joy for the love they find. A definite re-read. I would love to hear more but did not find evidence in the story that a sequel is planned.
