Alyssa’s sister Alexis had found her werewolf mate Connor and was blissfully happy. She wished for that kind of relationship and Connor’s best friend Marc was sure she was his mate. Alyssa was not so sure, something just did not feel right. After she was raped by a human she was dating she pulled away from everyone emotionally, even when she consented to date Marc. Then a turn of event brought Jace into her life and she had a choice to make.

Very sensual and caring Marc and Jace both love her and she is pulled by her feeling for both of them. Alyssa is also not ready to embrace her wolf half, which is an interesting concept to be a carrier of the werewolf genes and not be fully werewolf until turned. Fairly well written short story, but it could have used better segues between sections where characters seem to be in a different act so to speak. I liked the story and would like to see the characters do more.
