Reading through this book is like having a ready made list of ideas for new ventures into becoming your own boss. For an entrepreneur that’s like a child in a sweet shop, only our jars of temptation are filled with innovative chunks of business opportunities of which we have full control.

Sonia Williams is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with several established businesses under her belt. She explains how to discover the right business within a niche market to specifically suit you by drawing from what you enjoy most, your life experiences and current world trends. The latter I found extremely useful.

The prize candy of this book though, has to be the 100 quick idea business list. It is like brainstorming with someone who has already done it all, if not herself, she knows a person who can. From each of these we can ascertain whether the idea will fit us, and how we can put our unique stamp on the ideas to make us stand out from the rest. With useful reference points and website addresses, Start Me Up! Will make a powerful addition to any entrepreneur’s bookshelf. I thoroughly recommend it to get your creative juices flowing and your mind buzzing without the need for sugary sweets.
