Riezell Guardian Chastain Neff is not someone you want to tick off, period. A walking deadly weapon, she is one of the most sought after "bodyguards" for the pompous and important. When she's assigned to guard a man who's also well able to take care of himself, she's got an idea there's more than simple "guarding" going on. When that's confirmed, she knows this is not going to be a simple assignment.

Ruan Cosaint, future ruler and magnificent fighter is not about to let his "momma" pick his consort. Then his eyes alight upon Neff and things get a lot warmer in a hurry. This one takes no guff from him or anyone else and makes life interesting all round. Now all he has to do is keep both of them safe from the assassin who's been a royal pain.

There's nothing quite like the humor of watching two magnificently strong-willed individuals fight the attraction they have for one another. Throw in a few bad guys, hot sex, a couple of unexpected plot twists and you have the makings of a pretty enjoyable, fun read that's highly entertaining.
