Rachel Warner has four problems:
1—Richard Thompson--ex-husband, doesn't like his son, doesn't want custody of him, married again to a lady running in his own societal circle, drinks too much, daddy's little boy.
2—Robert Thompson--ex-father-in-law, rich, manipulative, controlling, wants his grandson but only on his conditions and when he's decided it's the right time.
3—Daniel Haines—singer/composer star of the times, hot lover who can't stay away from Rachel, and who needs to leave Rachel alone or she might lose her precious son.
4—Alexander Warner—love of Rachel's life, bane of Richard's, prize for Robert to hold over Rachel's head, a boy after Daniel's heart, an innocent child caught between a heartless father, loving mother, and exciting new man in his mother's life.
Mix all these ingredients together and throw in a healthy bowl full of sex to make a Rocky Road Romance. Can Rachel Warner solve these problems? Can she keep her new-found love? Can she keep her son or will Richard be able to gain custody?
Everyone knows that a romance novel will almost always end with the boy and girl getting married and living happily ever after. The big question is always How does the hero capture the hand of his lady love? Viviane Brentanos has done a superb job of plotting this little romance that kept me reading all day and half the night. I just couldn't put it down. I had to find out 'what happened next'. The reader will run the gamut of emotional highs and lows as they progress through this story. Laughter, tears, heartache, sadness, relief, you name it, you'll feel it. Great read.
Author Bio:
I was born in Reading UK in 1958. My father is English and my mother is French although there is a strong vein of Spanish on my maternal grandmother's side. I was educated at various schools before completing Sixth Form College at St Peter's Huntingdon...I decided to finally get my head down and do what I'd always promised myself; I was going to finish a novel. I have been writing romance since my early teens, mostly for my own satisfaction and for my friends but now I really want to work at it. Writing has become my passion. I have always been a "Romantic", often accused of not living in the real world but who wants to do that? I like to call my work Romance with a quirky, humorous Brit twist and I am always striving to make my characters real, characters we can all relate to…Read more here.
